About Our Club
The Rotary Club of Arlington Heights
Founded on March 26, 1956 with 20 Charter Members, our club has a long history of being one of the most active and largest contributors in our district (District 6440). Currently, we have 69 members.
Our members are from a wide array of professional classifications and backgrounds, and all with one united purpose— to serve the community and the world at large. “Service Above Self” guides our every action.
Our meetings are held every Thursday from 12:15pm to 1:30pm, gathering at the Wellington Restaurant in Arlington Heights for lunch and fellowship, conducting club business, and a lively program. Annual special events will supersede this schedule.
Village of Arlington Heights, Illinois, USA
A great place to live and work, and located only 25 miles from downtown Chicago, Arlington Heights is a community in the desirable northwest suburban corridor. A growing downtown skyline, expanding shopping areas, and new office parks attest to the Village's vibrancy.
Today, Arlington Heights covers about 17 square miles. Even though Arlington Heights has a population of more than 75,000, local residents and business people will say that the village retains many small-town charms. People remain in their homes for decades, stay loyal to local merchants and display a strong spirit of community participation.
