Article by: Bill Hoff
Photos by: Tim CorriganToday former 2004-2005 inbound exchange student Ivan Soberon gave a slide show and brought us up to date on what he has been doing since returning home. Originally from Veracruz, Mexico he, his mother and sister have since moved to San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
While he was here as an exchange student, his host families were the Ducheks, the Mormons and the Paddocks; and, he attended Prospect High School. He was and still is a fan of American football with the Chicago Bears being his favorite team.
Having graduated from Universidad TecMilemio in Industrial Engineering he is spending his time with his 250cc Honda Enduro motorcycle and Speleology(caving). He is taking the training program to perform rescues of people in caves. He plans to attend graduate school to round out his formal education.
Best of luck to you Ivan.
