ABC's of Rotary - September 25th
Don't miss out! The ABCs of Rotary session at RI World Headquarters in Evanston is fast approaching, and you will want to join in on Friday morning, September 25.
Hear the stories of Rotarians in this District, your colleagues and friends. Get to know their passions in service - learn how they found them and use them in their clubs, their communities, and their world. Learn how together we work to relieve suffering and spread goodwill and peace.
Meet Russell Vandenbroucke, a graduate of the World Peace Fellows program at Chulalongkorn University in Bankok whose involvement in that program changed the direction of his life's work.
Ask questions. Challenge assumptions. Empower yourself to bring your ideas and talents to effective volunteerism. Gain the tools and make the contacts to take the Future of Rotary into Your Hands.
Check-in begins at 8:30am with the program anticipated to end at 12:45pm. Registration can be done online at www.rotary6440.org with payment by credit card (click on ABCs of Rotary at RI in Evanston, not the tour link). Paper registration is an option - forms are available in the current Governor's newsletter and from club presidents.
In addition, if you wish to tour Rotary Headquarters in the afternoon of the same day, you can register separately online to take a tour after you have enjoyed lunch with friends at one of the many nearby restaurants. Tour reservations must be completed by September 18 so that the RI staff can arrange for an adequate number of docent guides to be available. There is no charge for the tour.

Cost of the program will be paid by our Club. Please contact Lynn Jensen for details.
