Fine Master's Corner

“Fun and Frolic” was admirably provoked by substitute Fine Master Terry Ennis, educating us about taking precautions – no, not those precautions, strange things like how a cheese rind is developed – swabbing with penicillin. Hey, it’s good for many things! Happy Fines, among others, included Deb Whisler’s pride in Bob, Curley Nebel’s appreciation for caring club Rotarians, Bill Borst looking forward to getting away to Florida (should be for looking forward to coming back to our club !), Tim Corrigan celebrating 20 great years of marriage, and Ron Crawford, somewhat like President Obama, announcing something about his mother-in-law and his wife (Don’t forget to tell us what time the party is, Ron !). Bob Paddock will have to pay a fine next week for noting in the newsletter that he saw former Rotarian Joe Lyon, formerly from the stacks of the Arlington Memorial Library – Joe was working as a volunteer at the north reception desk of NW Community. Joe said something like, “Stay healthy, but if you have to come, stop by and say Hi.” It’s great to see folks continue giving to the community!
