June 25, 2009 Happenings & Announcements
President Ron Crawford bid did another great job in his farewell meeting as President. Thank you, Ron, for your efforts and spirit!

Not to leave things undone, Ron presented a badge for 34 years of perfect attendance to Bill Borst. Good work, Bill. Terry Ennes was recipient of a 9-year attendance pin. Lynn Jensen was acknowledged for making our meetings better -- getting a new badge box and bell. Ask Lynn about the inscription – maybe he or someone else will pay your fine if you find out specifically what makes our bell special!
CEDA sent us a letter of thanks for the $1,000 donated by the club for their food pantry (what they call their Self Help Center). An especially important resource these days.
A party at Dave’s will be for a worthy cause. Whether you’ve cash out some gold or just are “feeling flush”, you can enjoy a cocktail party at Dave Schultz’ home (no, not the fire house!). Among the beverages are wines from Urban Harvest. The $30 per person raised go to Polio Plus. Dave says whatever your beverage, it will be a great time.
