The Club's First Holiday Bike Donation Program

The Club's first Holiday Bike Donation program was held Saturday, November 14 and it was a huge success. Ron Crawford helped organize the event which was run in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce, the Village, Township, District 25 and Village Bank. Forty-five bikes were donated last Saturday, most of which were in good condition. 'Usually, when we have bike drop-offs we get bikes that let us patch together one bike for every three donated', said John Amling who will be helping Ron with getting the bikes ready for delivery to local shelters. 'Most of the bikes we are getting today just need to be cleaned up and they will be ready to ride' he continued.

Some of the helpers for the Bike Doation program are shown above. Pictured are Tim Corrigan, Steve Scholten, Jon Ridler, Stacey Mallek and her husband Dan. Kris Stabler and Ron Graeff were also on hand to help.
After the event, the Bike Donation helpers moved the bikes are to John Amling's residence. Please contact Ron Crawford if you would like to help with getting thebikes ready for donation.
